First time at a Royal Sonesta. Here for an event. Room is midmarket hotel at best (think Hampton Inn). Water pressure sucks. Toilets barely work. Outrageous prices for everything. Room temperature either ice cold or not at all. Loud AC when it is on. I would not/will not stay at another Royal Sleaze hotel if they are all like this one.
Beautiful hotel. Food and serve were excellent. Chef Esteban is amazing!
Not a great experience, but not a terrible experience either. Everything comes with a cost. Parking is not convenient (have to reach at least the 3rd floor of the garage to find any standard guest parking). It's also outrageously expensive. Each time housekeeping made up the room, they took the used towels out and never replenished them. Had to call the front desk each of the 4 times. The front desk staff was great and helpful.
