I cannot praise enough Nury, the groomer, who made my little princess look beautiful! (Her fur is soft and cut PERFECTLY! Face perfect, paws perfect. Also teeth cleaned and she had a calming bath! Luxury Spa treatment! And look at that cute red bandana with lil bones, how adorable is she!) This is the first time that I can say my doggy was groomed properly and treated with outmost care. It’s rare for me to leave a review, but I felt that I must for Royal Pets in Midtown. My rescue dog is VERY anxious when it comes to the vet which results in fear aggression. Prior to going to Royal Pets, my pup has required sedation for any examination. I thought that was just going to be the norm for his entire life. He had his first appointment with Dr. Braha this weekend who I can confidently say is the most compassionate veterinarian I have ever encountered, along with the vet tech, Wanita. I had a wonderful experience with the groomer here. Christine was very friendly and professional like she always is. She is a dog whisperer. I am extatic that I found her. I will not be taking my furr babies anywhere else. She was excellent, and patient. I brought my Byrnes Mountain Dog who had never been groom before and she's 4yrs old and she got her done and I'm sure it was not an easy feat. She also did my 2yr old Morkie. I could mot be happier. I wish I could give 0 stars. As a grooming facility this place is shady and unprofessional. I have never been charged the same price for the same groom, they will add on additional charges without approval, and they will rush through grooms to get out quicker. I was charged for an “express groom” which I never requested or was informed was receiving. The only reason I can assume is because the groomer told me I was “her only appointment of the day and all other appointments cancelled” and she wanted to not only rush my dog o... read more
