I lived here for three and a half years, from 2018-2021. I ALWAYS paid my rent on or before the 1st of the month. According to the letter the owner Mike, the owner, wrote for me, I always maintained my apartment and he never had any issues with me as a tenant. And YET, after all that he saw fit to take $300 off of my deposit money, claiming that there was an administrative fee of $100 and a broken blind. My suggestion to anyone considering renting from Royal Palms, DON'T DO IT. If you decide this is the place for you, start by taking note of EVERY TINY thing wrong with your apartment. Upon move out, you'll be charged for everything - including things poorly repaired prior to your move in. During the process of disputing my security deposit (you have to ask what was deducted and why) I mentioned that I was surprised that the Royal Palms employees didn't notice the poor repairs in my apartment on day 1 of my lease considering... read more
