I'm saddened to have to leave this review as we booked this hotel for my partners big birthday and travelled from the Uk to what we thought would be a lovely hotel. It wasn't, it was dirty, rundown, had mould in the rooms, smelly and dusty air-con machines. We had no choice but to move hotels within an hour of arriving. We rebooked directly during our stay for a trip 11 months later and paid a deposit — but were never shown or sent any cancellation policy or booking confirmation. When we had to cancel just 20 days later (with 10 months’ notice), they refused a refund and sent a rude, aggressive response before going silent. Their justification was simply that they’re a small business and “can’t absorb losses due to cancellations.” With this much notice — and no terms ever provided — it feels deeply unfair.
