The staff (exluding Ann) in Royal Oldham Hospital pre op don't follow the 7 step handwashing technique, and do not wear gloves or apron as per policy when taking blood. A cursory 3 second rub with alcohol does not count when it comes to invasive procedures. I wonder how many patients have aquired an infection through their failure to follow policy. Plus, the one in the dark blue had limited emotional intelligence,and was one of the most unprofessional "leaders" I have come across. A good psychologist could help her learn ... read more
