My husband and I got married in November 2025 on the NCL getaway. We had a symbolic wedding on a sea day with close to 70 guests. The day was perfect! We worked with Yuliia Shunina at Royal Ocean. She was a dream to work with! She was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She was always available for calls and check-ins. Fabulous experience from start to finish! I am just back from getting married about Holland America's Koningsdam ship and everything was magnificant from the moment I arrived at port through the wedding to disembarkation a week later. Royal Ocean Events was very thorough and worked hard to make our special day perfect. I worked with Ashley Gauthier for close to a year on my event, which was about a week ago, and am so grateful for how hard working she was! We had a few issues due to miscommunication between Norwegian staff and Royal Ocean Events, which was no fault of Ashley's, but she still went above and beyond to do everything she could to meet and exceed our expecations. Royal Ocean Events did an incredible job with our special day. Melina our wedding coordinator was professional, easy to contact and communicative. I had some concerns about the coordination between the on ship coordinators and the island coordinators, but they nailed it. We cruised on the Norwegian Aqua from New York to Bermuda. Weather became a concern the day before the wedding and they had already prepared an alternate indoor and on ship ceremony option just in case.
