The home is beautiful externally but I have had issues after issues for a brand new home, most of which I have resolved myself. What irks me is the Window leakage issue which has been going on since I moved it. 5 or so contractors later with a lot of inconvenience to my family, the issue has returned. I bought a Royal Oaks home in 2013. Eight years later, my screened-in back porch already needs repairing. The wood is severely bending and cracking. Also, the flooring in my bedroom is splitting. You would think all of this is considered structural damage. Professionals came out to look at my property and recommended that I contact my home warranty. Where do I start? We have been in our home for less that 2 years and have had a crack in our kitchen ceiling "repaired" twice ONLY TO HAVE IT CRACK AGAIN. I have been told that it is NOT structural...it's cosmetic! I am not an engineer but I know when wooden supports are added, that is NOT cosmetic! Twice now we have had to cope with repairs that take 5 days or more. During that time, we have no use of our kitchen from approx. 8 am-5pm. My Mattamy Home rep was very responsive up to the point where we requested that our initial deposit be returned. We are fully within our rights to receive our deposit back since we never even received a fully executed contract. To date, all attempts to reach the Mattamy representative has yielded zero results. I couldn't be more disappointed in this company's lack of professionalism. I understand refunds take time but simply acknowledging an email and advising a potential buyer of the timeline for return of funds should not ... read more

We purchased a home in July of 2020. Almost 6 months later our laundry list of issues have still not been addressed at all including a dead lawn that was dead on closing day. We were promised that the lawn would taken care of ASAP, and it still hasn’t been. Also the floors we paid major money for are awful due to grout color inconsistencies throughout the house and paint and grout haze on the tiles themselves. This is only two issues of many. Do yourself a favor and run..FK Mattamy homes. I can’t wait to sell and buy from ***** *****coming right next door in Tohoqua. Been 6 months and I am very disappointed in choosing to buy mattamy. Took almost 6 months. 4 different service calls, 3 different companies to come out and figure out the water intrusion in the garage. On top of the few other service calls for things inside the home. THE WORST. They cut corners, turnover staff and do not honor their word. They absolutely put profit above people and mislead the customer. The warranty department goes out of their way to ensure that nothing is actually covered under warranty. The build took longer than promised by 2 months, the amenities promised in the neighborhood are not here (waterfront access, common area etc...). They are concerned with nothing but profit. Hi,to the home builder Mattamy and to the new buyers the people of ***** *****community were lied to when we purchased our Towns and our Houses the Builder promised us our pool will be built in October of 2020 now they keep building new towns and new houses but they changed the date of the pool till next year or even 2022 we were all tricked into buying this property with a community pool now we don't have a pool and we might not see it for two years so I warning the new buyers stay away from this builder they are liers all ... read more

I want for first start with how great Marci was. I can not say enough good things about her, she is one of the sales specialist in their Phoenix sales office.
