My fiancé and I booked love ridge for an affordable and private honeymoon and we’re very pleased with our stay. Ahead of our stay, the staff informed us that there was a problem with our cabin and that we were upgraded to a bigger and better cabin. The grounds were very quiet (we stayed in March) and everything in the cabin was well kept and clean. The staff were also very responsive (~30 minute response time) to any questions during our stay.
Stayed at Raven's Roost (house) in Love Ridge Mountain Lodging. Hot water worked very well, furnace heat good, hot tub excellent. Wonderful sunrise view of the Mountains. Location perfect for exploring short easy hikes, or the AT. Right off the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Really nice retreat! Very nice spot if you have a big group of people. Close to town and snowboarding spots. And the best part was a hot tub. There was a fire ban, but you can also build a fire there.
We stayed in High Meadows cabin, which was well-appointed and very clean. The soaking tub is HUGE! The staff was very attentive and the cabin had everything we needed when we lost power during an unusual wind storm. Our favorite part of our stay was Chester, the sweet and affectionate feline ambassador of Love Ridge!
