Pay More, Get Less Our family—and even extended family—has gone to Royal Nails for years, despite having closer options. Unfortunately, the experience has steadily declined. Prices continue to increase, there are more undisclosed upcharges, and the service keeps getting worse. My wife and daughter recently went in for pedicures and were charged the adult rate for a 10-year-old. Took my friend to get her nails done for her birthday/gender reveal- the design was super simple, short and almond shaped with dark purple and Forrest green (her chosen gender reveal colors) with some cute line work. The lady proceeded to not listen and used blue on her nails. My friend is also pregnant and the fumes were getting to her so she didn’t want her fixing it prolonging her uncomfortableness. I was then charged 80$ for this design. RIDICULOUS !

I went in to get my nails done for my gender reveal this week, and simply just wanted French tips that were tie-dye pink and blue. I explained this and showed them a photo of exactly what I wanted. My nail tech acted confused, then proceeded to do my nails. I asked her if she could do this and she quickly nodded without even looking up at me. She seemed proficient in prepping my nails and I gained some more faith in her through the process.Then as she was ready to do the color, she hesitated, so I brought up the photo again.... read more

I came in for a gel pedicure and told the tech clearly “No cut, just file.” She ignored that and cut my nails short anyway. Annoying! but whatever they grow back. Then she suddenly started digging into the side of my big toe. without asking for an “ingrown” that wasn’t even bothering me.
