Very flavorful and tasty! The Biryani is *excellent*.
During our Acadia National Park visit, we stopped by Royal Indian Restaurant in Bar Harbor and ordered takeout. We tried the Lamb Biryani for lunch and Lobster Tandoor for dinner. Both dishes were delicious and full of flavor. The Lamb Biryani was perfectly spiced with tender lamb, and the Lobster Tandoor was a wonderful combination of fresh Maine lobster and Indian-style seasoning. It's a Nepali restaurant not indian, hence the curries don't have the Indian spice/taste and were bland. However their tandoor items Naan/roti were really good. Dal was decent. unfortunately, wouldn't recommend if you want authentic Indian experience.
The Indian food here is delish!! We had the butter chicken, chicken biryani, Chana masala, and the momo- it was delectable! Service is also amazing! If you love Indian food definitely come here :)
