I stayed here for two nights in a double bedroom with a shared bathroom. We were able to check in quite late which was helpful for our late flight arrival. The hotel staff was lovely, the accomodation was clean, quiet and super comfortable and the shared showers and toilets (gendered) were very clean and private. The shared kitchen facilities were also very convenient. The trains, bus and trams also stop right outside the hotel so it is super accessible if you are exploring Melbourne without a car. Good location and clean room. However, the room is not soundproofed. So you can hear people walking and opening their doors. In addition, remember don't leave anything before you check out. I left a jacket in the hotel and called the hotel multiple times to send the jacket back. They kept saying it would be sent out end of week, but never delivered.

What a great venue! Tidy rooms with a shared bathroom. Great pub downstairs. Close to Essendon train station. Bed are comfy, bathrooms new and clean. Great communal area as well. Bargain at the price.

Great place to stay, there is a shared kitchen area with tea and coffee, rooms were perfect as it was just me! Essendon train station is right around the corner, CBD is probably a 30 minute train ride. The lady who checked me in was so funny, and housekeeping was daily, coincidentally operated laundry, shared bathrooms were clean and sanitary. Would definitely recommend staying here.
