Our first concern walking in was what appears like pink mold on the floor. There's an abundance of dirt and black marks on baseboards/walls. Black residue on the sheets, holes in the sheets, dirty curtains going out to balcony, what appears like mud, chocolate, blood I'm not sure, but covered. Rust, water damage on furniture. Mold on all chairs at dining table, or what appears to be mold, black specs. Dirty shower curtain, dirty bathroom floor with hair from previous guests. We booked it on booking.com as a hotel called “Gulf Shores Plantation Condos”. However, it is not a hotel, and there is no such name on Google Maps or on the building. When I book a place on booking.com, I usually choose the option to set the Property Type to “hotel”. It was this time as well. However, this was not really a hotel. In the case of a hotel, you do not need to communicate with anybody in advance, just book, come to the reception, and get keys; that's it. This was not the case. The room was nice but the building we were in only had one working elevator on the very far end of the hall. when we were leaving we waited over 30 minutes for that one elevator.
