Had a great time fishing with Evan.Started catching fish as soon as we hit the water.Evan is a great guide and teacher on the water.Couldn't say enough about his ability to put you on fish and you might just learn a thing or two with him as your guide.He has a great personality which makes the trip that much more enjoyable. The outfit did a great job of staying in contact and providing information. MY day fishing with Evan was fantastic. He put me on the fish for sure. He was very professional and fun. Even taught an old dog like me some new tricks. It was a great day.
We had an awesome experience. The planning and preparation by Taylor and his team was exceptional. The guides were able to work with beginners and more experienced children and adults. Great experience and beautiful too.
Although I have fished for many years, I had never previously fly fished before. Juan started by explaining the various fly lures and explained the species they mimicked in the water. He also went over basic principles of casting and retrieval, and allowed me time to learn. It was a very educational and rewarding trip, and I would definitely recommend Juan as a guide. He is patient and cares about giving his client education, while also doing all he can to get his client on the fish. And of course; that's what we all love!
This is hands down our favorite fly shop. The customer service is second to none, and everyone treats you like family. They genuinely want you to have a great experience on the water and are always willing to share advice and local knowledge. We love that they’re an Orvis-endorsed shop because we’re huge Orvis fans ourselves. Whether you’re visiting the area or you’re a local, this shop is absolutely worth a stop. We can’t wait to come back!
