I spent 6 hours in A&E with my mum and during that time, I witnessed a 90-year-old man with dementia left sitting in a wheelchair for nearly 12 hours he kept asking to leave and in the end his daughter felt it kinder to take him home. This isn't the fault of the frontline staff — they are doing their best under impossible circumstances. The real issue lies with the management at CTMUHB.
