The recent reviews are true. SDEC is extremely inefficiently organised and very hot with no ventilation. Over 10 hour wait for ACL tear with no staff contact during this time. Horrendous
I was at Royal Free A& E in April due to one side of my face muscle are not working. All necessary checks were done one after another and got treatment in 9hours. All staff, nurses and doctors are very nice and very kind, and very efficient.
Avoid this A&E department at all costs. Besides being extremely dirty everywhere, the waiting times are over 6+ hours and people are treated like cattle. The staff are slow, lazy and inefficient, and the doctors, if you’re lucky enough to ever see one, have limited knowledge and expertise.
If i could give a minus rating I really would. The waiting times for Same Day Urgent Care are way outside of the 4 hour expectation. I arrived in the hospital at 7.30pm and it's now 3.45am the reception has been closed since 2.30am there is no clear order to people being called in Having been here over 7 hours I've seen at least 15 people come after and go before me.
