After waiting months to see the osteoarthritis specialist regarding the chronic osteoarthritis in my fingers. The female doctor showed me x-rays and told me there is no cure, no operation and nothing can be done. She's WRONG! I've found out you can get ASTROPLASTRY surgery which is available on the NHS but now I can't wait any longer and I'll have to go private

We have a family member currently in care at the Royal Ed . On behalf of my family I feel compelled to commend the medical/ care team for their professionalism, care and compassion of our loved one . This also extends to the kindness and attention they give to us whilst on visits . The layout of the wards is so well designed, with central courtyard gardens ensuring access to fresh air and a perceived sense of freedom ( so important for the residents) . Spent 2 stays in this establishment. The consultant psychiatrist I seen on my 2nd stay was very insensitive and condescending but other than that was a better experience than a 2 week stay at an all inclusive hotel at Tenerife and I hope to be back.

Hospital broke my confidentiality, lied to me and lied to the ombudsman to avoid getting in trouble. I lost a year of my life because of their negligence. Enter with caution.
