New parking system is an absolute joke as all non disabled parking is max stay 90 mins, so must use park and ride that only runs during the day... totally useless. On top of this the vending machines in A&E dont work so good luck getting a drink whilst waiting 6hrs to be dealt with whilst they screw you for £25 as your car is there more than the 90 mins! In Short, Die rather than come here!

I just want to share my experience with you all on ward 408. I stayed beside my poorly father overnight. Louise the nurse looking after my father gave the upmost care. Anyone can ask for. She was also so caring and helpful at all times. And beyond her means for the care my father recived. Thankyou Louise. Love the passion, dedication and responsibility you take. Respect to you for your effort.

This hospital has shown a complete disregard for patient care and privacy. After I submitted a formal complaint, the only response I received was: “We cannot turn back time, but this is a learning opportunity for us.” Meanwhile, my children were harmed, there was a clear breach of GDPR, and no staff members appear to be held accountable. Doctors here can discuss your medical case openly, even in front of other patients, without any concern for confidentiality. I have been suffering for years and honestly could not stand the pain anymore so I phoned 111. In the end they sent the ambulance but honestly the most fantastic duo that I got to meet Lee and Ollie in ambulance number 2611 and then After about eight hours, I got to see a gentleman by the Name lee Jefferies what’s a lovely man and so kind thoughtful all three gentlemen was so fantastic with me as I’ve been incredibly down because of my pain. Don't think the Royal Derby hospital gets the praise the staff deserve they have saved my two sons when both had a heart attack .Yesterday I had to visit urology to have some tests the staff couldn't be nicer. They put me at ease I was treated with a lot of care Thankyou I know the job you all do isn't easy
