I arrived at RDH at 10am with a referral which Emergency Reception confirmed they had received. 5 hours later, after sitting quietly in the Fast Track section, I politely asked some nurses what plans there were for me to be seen. Their reaction was defensive, and critical of me for speaking to them rather than to the appropriate staff who were outside the fast track area and had made no contact.
