Bait and switch Looked at car on website and test drove. Was ready to make offer and was told not same car, that car we were looking at was 1400 more. My daughter was talked down to about needing "cheap" car. Budget was based on car, would have went more if car was worth it. Bought better car for only 1200 more than one we viewed online with competitor. Not about money. About being sketchy. Side note...also first car tested had issues. If had honored advertised price, would have had a deal on second test driven.
Ended up with a pretty decent car, only bad side is high mileage. I checked out everything fairly thorough. These guys sell good and bad cars from what I read. I knew mine had one owner and no crashes so that was a green flag. Also looked under the hood and under the car for problems and rust. The man who does the detailing does a good job at making it look clean and fresh. The mechanic on site i’m not sure of, he supposedly fixed a clamp leaking coolant that I pointed out, but it was still throwing coolant when we got home.... read more
Super shady dealership that seems to cover up problems instead of fix them! My daughter worked hard and saved her money to purchase her first car. She picked out a Dodge Journey and everything seemed fine on the test drive so we bought it. A week later she came out of a store and noticed a huge puddle of oil under the car. I had the car towed to my mechanic to avoid any further damage. When my mechanic began taking apart the oil cooler he discovered that at some point a gasket had gone bad. Resonable, worked with me ,until I had the car for two days and he got mad because I was upset about the gas not receiving properly and me being on side of road ,first I thought it was gas but turns out after diagnosing it it was the gas filter/vale said he couldn’t fix because he didn’t have lift but goes down the rd for inspection to laurel park so why can’t my car get fixed .
