Established in 1976,is a high tech, high volume coin manufacturing facility. Besides Canada, Philippines, UAE and Zambia order their coins to be minted here. Highly mechanized, one can visit the facility and take a 30 minute guided tour to know the various stages of minting.If interested, one can purchase beautiful coins and comemorative sets from the Mint boutique.
Such a fantastic visit. Cade and Omo were wonderful representatives of the mint. Cade went above and beyond in helping me at the shop and Omo gave an engaging and informative tour. So happy we had the opportunity to visit.
Excellent selection. Lovely building. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We did not do the hour today, but have previously and it is worth going. Nice surroundings too!
