Don’t go here if you’re in severe pain, call ambulance. I watched people slowly die from bleeding in the waiting room whilst staff completely ignored them for hours. They cannot provide needed investigations for patients with cancer, I am losing my friend due to years of neglect by RBWH. 95% of people working at this department do not care enough to be working in healthcare.
Was in for day surgery (with overnight stay). After going home, had a minor concern so went back. At every level, from Admissions through pre-op, surgery and post-op care to final reassurance, the efficiency, understanding, caring and care cannot be praised more highly nor appreciated more greatly. Everyone who works in a hospital—especially a huge, incredibly busy public one—deserves our gratitude and respect. I think everyone at the RBWH is wonderfu;, thank you all.
The doctors and nursing staff are the best.
