We arrived on April 22 and stayed till 28 (Tuesday-Friday). The staff was perfect and extremely accommodating, our room was amazing (especially the bed!) except the AC was somewhat slow. The hotel parking lot was questionable at first, then grew on us. It (the hotel) is conveniently located to beach, restaurants, stores, etc. (personal note: Ocean Grill has bad food, as does Brewfish Bar and Grill, BUT Beg For More Sushi has OUTSTANDING food! COMPLETE SCAM. DO NOT BOOK HERE UNLESS YOU ENJOY STAYING IN A RUN DOWN SHED. Do not be fooled, this place looks NOTHING like the pictures. They will tell you they are under renovation which is also a scam. We learned that this place has been exactly the same for many years. Grounds are horrible, rooms are damp, musty and dirty. No bar, no restaurant, no lounge, nothing at all. Shady people all over the place, seems like the kind of place you book by the hour. I’d give it a zero in every way if I could.
The sheets were too small for the bed, all 4 corners came off every night we stayed here. There were also stains in them. Overall not very clean, there were toothpaste stains on the mirror when we arrived and hair in the sink/tub. We could hear every conversation of the people next to us, every night. Do not come here on a weekend cause it’s basically a college party. People were yelling from balconies at all hours, and we were forced to park offsite at a different lot. Absolutely awful! The whole place was falling apart...no restaurant...or bar...or anything worth staying here for...pool and surroundings broken...my daughter stepped on broken tile around the pool and cut her foot....all the pool 'chairs' are broken and frayed....tore a hole my dress. Our hotel room was infested with ants....and when we asked to switch rooms we were told we dont have the same room available but 'we will come spray ant killx'. I would give this dump a ZERO if I could - the website and photos are completely deceiving and it's absolutely disgusting The front desk staff acted like they didn't know what we talking about when we brought up the discrepancy of the website and the current condition of the grounds, the pool, the lack of a Tiki bar, restaurant or lounge. This is like a shady motel off the street that looks like a run down shack.. DO NOT BOOK HERE. You will get scammed and not be able to get a refund no matter what travel Insurance you have.... read more
