I love Dr Roy! Listens well, explains well, answers My Chart messages very quickly, refills prescriptions faster than Jimmy John's delivers your sandwich! Easily accessible and so very kind and knowledgeable. Everything you want and need in a PCP.
Unprofessional, rushed care and inaccurate medical documentation. I will never return to this provider, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for their healthcare. My experience with Dr. Roy Thomas was highly disappointing. He was entirely irresponsible and impatient throughout the encounter.Instead of taking the time to listen to my medical history, he rushed through the appointment at an aggressive pace. Nice physician who is knowledgeable and helpful for my situation. That said, I felt that I was mansplained by him just a tad. Like, I get it, he needs to ensure I a know proper lifestyle guidelines; trouble is I know them (I am in healthcare with extensive nutrition background). He should have assessed my understanding and goals/motivations first before counseling.
Love love love Dr Thomas!! One of the greatest Drs my family and I have ever had! He's great with my boys one of which is on the spectrum. He always remembers to ask how they are doing. Honestly one of the most genuine I have ever seen!! We followed him from Geneva to Woodridge! 10/10
