I had thyroid surgery with Dr. Phitayakorn just over two weeks ago. I had several Telehealth and phone visits before and after the surgery. On the day of surgery, he comes to talk to you before and after the surgery and asks how you're doing. He is the nicest man, and after just a little over two weeks post-surgery, you can hardly see my scar at all! He is a very skilled surgeon and a very caring individual. Had my thyroid removed in 2011 by Dr P excellent surgeon … two surgeries as I wanted half out then other half after they said it was cancer … recommended him

Dr. Phitayakorn was fantastic throughout the whole process- even called the night before surgery to see if I had any questions. I was also able to contact him directly a couple weeks after as I had some questions. Exceptional care!
Dr. Phitayakorn is an amazing surgeon who combines great expertise with a caring and thoughtful bedside manner. He listens to his patients and answers any and all questions, including providing his cell phone number, if problems arise. I also found Massachusetts General Hospital personnel to be very efficient and wonderful!
