Dr Matsuyama may be a good doctor, but I am deeply disappointed after my wife’s successful examination due to the exorbitant charges for his professional services and outrageous charges by Maui Medical Hospital, none of which were covered by insurance despite our presentation of proof of presumed insurance coverage. No compassion, rude
My first and unsuccessful colonoscopy was done 5 yrs ago by a general surgeon on Maui. Due to the unsuccessful completion/complications and negative experience of the colonoscopy, I asked my PCP for a referral to a gastroenterologist and was referred to Dr. Matsuyama. I had a consultation with him, we discussed my case. I felt extremely comfortable AND confident to have him perform the procedure under deep sedation..
