Needs to be more pet friendly
Here is about the highest recommendation I can give. 25 miles southwest of Denver, this is a magical park with beautiful red rock outcroppings, serene hiking trails, and a good opportunity to see a variety of wildlife. As a fine art photographer, who has lived many years in the area, I’ve managed to have a great collection of images from here.

All I can say is, “Wow!” Amazing trails and scenery. They have both easy and moderately hard trails. I loved it!
This evening we saw a black bear, red fox and several antelope while enjoying the quiet park. Absolutely love this space!
Beautiful park with wonderful hiking trails. Landforms are similar to those of Garden of the Gods, but the trails here are wonderful, and the park is not as congested. The visitor center was helpful and very kid friendly. Don’t skip the film, it was worth the investment of time, and very informative! Did you know there is also a Colorado State Park passport for youth?
