Staff is nice, however, I don't think the doctors have ever actually helped with any of my health issues before. At the beginning of June, I made an appointment to get tested for potential allergies. I was booked in for a blood test and I didn't hear anything back as it was deemed "satisfactory", and now I had an allergic reaction to almonds. I tried to make an emergency appointment and I told the receptionist what happened, and she told me my doctor will phone me sometime during the day. When she did, she said to me "So you... read more
Looking at some of the more negative reviews, I wonder what these people are judging it against. I have only lived in Chippenham for two and a half years and can hand on heart, say, in my eyes, the surgery and foremost the staff are excellent. I moved from Hampshire and stayed away from the practice there as much as possible. Of course, I'm not downing the NHS, but the urgency and attention to patient problems were not a match to what I feel I receive from the Rowden surgery, Keep up the good work.
First time I visited this place, i got a bad vibe. That was when we registered our new born. I was completely ignored by the gp and only the opinion of my wife was valid. She didn’t even acknowledge me when I answered the questions she asked as if the only credible person there was the mother. I tried to consider this a one off but recently, I’m no longer convinced. I have severe hayfever. So bad that I’m on tablets daily all year. Even with the max dose, I struggle to breathe and pretty much get my oxygen through my mouth. ... read more
