I was able to schedule an appointment for a physical. When i got to the office , 20mins early like they requested; they had me sign documents and then the from desk person proceeded to ask what am i here for. I stated a physical, she then ask is there anything else you want to talk to the doctor about. I was very confused as we are in a waiting room and you are asking personal questions. I called ahead of time for an appointment I made because of being held up from a car accident (I did leave early enough to be on time if the accident didn't happen). I called saying I was running late but should still be on time and was told that I had until 10:55 or else I'd have to reschedule. I made it, parked my car, got my children out of their car seats and put the younger one into the stroller, and walked inside. Honestly incredibly disappointed with my experience. Long story short, i caught pneumonia and lost my job because this office would not produce a doctors note in time. I continuously followed up to receive false promises and delayed responses. Things were tough already, but my boss was not happy because I needed to be excused from an important event and this made it worse. This practice has terrible front office staff. Communication must be non-existent because my pharmacy was calling them to refill one of my prescriptions, and weren’t getting answers. When I tried to call personally, I also received no response for over 2 days. Finally, I receive a response - not a call back - but in MyChart. My request is denied - no explanation - just denied. Reception was polite on the phone and in person I was seen right on time. Most of the staff I interacted with was pleasant. I do like that this is a teaching office and the medical student was very kind and listened to me. My issue was with the doctor I saw Dr. Danielle Cooley. I described my symptoms and she gave me another prescription for a medication that I already indicated did not help me. She ordered one test which I was called and informed was negative but didn't say what to do in that case. So overall I was not help... read more
