Hired this company to repair my gas fireplace. Paid him $250 and he did not complete the repair. My fireplace is still not functional (same issue exists that he was hired to fix). I have repeatedly left messages indicating that the issue was not fixed. No responses at all were received by this company. There's a reason this company has about 6 different names it operates under. It's a shell game to keep avoiding bad reviews. This contractor defrauded me. DO NOT USE !!!!!
Used *********and he came out and quoted the job. Price was great and he was a nice guy so I agreed . Next day I get a text saying the price isnt high enough and he is adding 300 dollars. Sadly I agreed. He then changed appointments 3 times without enough notice for me to cancel the vacation days I took to be there. After that he finally showed up, went up a ladder, then told me the roof is too steep and he cant do the job. Why didnt this and the price get addressed at the quote when he was there. Got worse. Hired Rowan Chimney to rebuild my chimneys on my historic Salisbury NC home. I am totally impressed with this company. The work they did was outstanding to say the least. Highly recommend them for all your chimney needs!!
I set up a consultation with Joe to come and give us a quote to convert our gas fireplace to a wood burning fireplace. Not only did he never show up, we never received a call letting us know he was not coming. I called his office and left a voice message and never received a call back. He never even responded to my messages on thumbtack. I'm not sure how his work is done. But this is probably one of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever had.
