Absolutely disgraceful handling of sitter disputes. I was hit with a defamatory review from a client who retaliated after I refused further service — and despite providing evidence and submitting multiple complaints, Rover refused to take it down. Their so-called "Trust & Safety" department does nothing but copy/paste canned replies while pretending their Terms of Service don’t apply to sitters. The review violates their own policies around misleading and malicious content, yet they left it up, knowingly enabling falsehoods ... read more

I have used Rover pet services three times in the last two years. The only person that I have had to come in my home to take care of my two wonderful cats is Tina. She has amazing. All you do is pay a small amount of money and they come take care of your animals every day if you want or every other day. They will send you pictures of your pets, and if they come out from hiding, they will pet them and give them a little cuddle. Rover is a wonderful service. I came onto this platform as a former vet tech with decades of experience with animals. During my tenure with Rover, I had multiple animals do damage to my property, which Rover did nothing about. As a sitter, I had a dog escape and he bit me and several other people who were trying to rescue him. I notified the owners and luckily the rest of the visit went great. Owners wrote a great review. Rover always asks at the end of a job if there were any escapes or bites. I responded with a yes. Rover emailed on Friday, Valentine’s Day evening about it. It was also Presidents’ Day weekend. Our friends used this service and came home to a dead cat. Sitter took pictures once and pretended like they were checking on the cat.
