Brought my chevy cruze here to have the oil cooler replaced as it was leaking this is commonly a 2 to 2 1/2 hour job they bought the part and did the job a short while later it started leaking again took it back they had the car 1 week I was told it appears to be the o-ring gasket on the oil filter was charged $65 for the oil change and guess what it still was leaking took it back after 3 days was told it's the oil pan leaking and was charged another $340 was told it's bone dry well it still leaked took it to a garage had it... read more

Over the course of 6 months I've had multiple parts replaced in my car by route 5 auto. Sway bar links, brakes and rotors, spark plugs, ball joints, timing chain. A significant amount of money was put into my car only to find out from an honest mechanic that my sway bar links were put in backwards, how in the hell that happens is beyond me. My brakes after being only 2 months old had to be replaced because they ground them down to fit and did it too much so they caused a clunky noise in my car. Jay is a top notch mechanic!!! Update 6/5/24..newish car is always giving me a headache and Route 5 Auto is always on top of fixing it for me, whether it's an appointment or I just pull in. He diagnosis the problem and fixes it while I'm there. Thank you!!
