Route 22 Service Center is awesome! I brought my high roof ram promaster in for a yearly inspection and service. Everyone was friendly, kind, to-the-point, and honest. I have so much respect for the auto technicians here in these trying times. Tried having a battery replaced in my car this Spring and they had the nerve to try to charge me close to $350ish. Ran with my tail between my legs to VIP and got it done for just over $100, so imagine how much they’re overcharging for work you actually don’t understand well. Absolute CON of a repair shop, take your service elsewhere, and preferably a place that doesn’t also advertise right-wing conservative politics right out on their front lawn.
They will not allow you to bring in your own parts as they need to make the profit from selling an overpriced part. Great customer service tho!
This place is awesome, highly recommend! They were able to fit me in the same day for an inspection and they also gave me a ride to/from my work nearby, which was an unexpected and much-appreciated convenience. It’s always such a relief to find auto mechanics that are kind, accommodating, honest, and don’t try to pressure or upsell you. Thanks Tim and Billy for a great experience. This is my new go-to garage!
Chipmunks ate through my fuel line in OOB. Tim recommended a tow company. They were loaded quickly. The guys at the shop removed the fuel tank, replaced the damaged line as well as a well used fuel pump, replaced the brakes, rotated the tires, did an oil change and replaced the battery in something that has to be close to record time. And did it well. 6.5 hours from turning the key and finding a problem till it was back in the driveway. Frigging remarkable.
