I bought a 1987 Citroen 2CV from Simon and the sale went well. I think I paid a fair price, the car was in good condition, and Simon setup transport from NJ to Seattle through his shipping contacts at a reasonable rate. When I got the car in Seattle, one of the first things I did was bring it to the local 2CV expert for a full checkup and to determine if other work needed to be done. Was looking for a classic mini for a while when I ran into to Simon online. He was beyond accommodating in regards to the process despite me taking my time with the purchase. He explained things to me well, not being used to classics. He managed everything in regards to paperwork and the quick shipping. We hit a snag with the registration in MA but he was apologetic, and fixed it immediately. You may need to do some research with your state RMV prior to avoid such. I recently purchased a mini from Simon and he was an absolute pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. He has expert knowledge in the types of cars he imports, is honest and fair, and I’d never trust anyone else for this type of purchase.
I would NOT recommend this dealer unless you plan on doing all the work the car will need to even run properly! I purchased a 1987 2CV Citroen from this company and was told that it was a refurbished car. WELL THAT WAS A LIE. It was mickey moused to the point that I could not get it registered. Thankfully I found a local repair shop that told me I needed a new carburetor (said it was leaking gas so badly it could not be fixed).
