Yesterday I visited Rough Draft, and I can honestly say I was impressed from the moment I walked through the door. Books lined the shelves, filled the tables, and created the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. What stood out most was the sense of community, people sharing tables, chatting over coffee, working, reading, and simply enjoying the space together. This place is so cute. I love the ambiance. My favorite coffee is a Golden Latte, which is not made (or made well) in most places. I live out of state but make it a point to come visit at least once every time I'm in the area
If I had a retail store, this is the concept I would go with...adult drinks and book seller. You can comfortably sip and read a book, or just chat with a very eclectic crowd.
