Rough Creek will always hold a special place in my heart. I truly love the changes made since I left in 2010. I try to come back and visit whenever life allows. We have held my daughter’s 10th birthday, celebrated anniversaries, and just good ol family fun here. I can’t think of a better place so close to home to enjoy great service, exceptional food, and good Texas fun! Chef Gerard, Raul, and the entire staff makes it special every time. We ate in the dining room where we met some friends for a fancy dinner. The view of the countryside was beautiful and there is a very nice outdoor patio and bar where we enjoyed watching the sunset. The meal was fabulous. We had the shrimp and crab appetizer which was amazing and then we both had the gulf reddish for dinner. Had a great company trip here. Very kid friendly. The staff and everything about it was perfect. Lots of activities. No one got bored.
