I rode this at my first time at Cedar Point when I was 11 and it was so rough that I remember banging my head into the shoulder harness more than anything else about the ride. That should tell you everything you need to know. I am usually very tolerant of rough coasters, and I even was back then (I had no trouble with Corkscrew or Magnum). But not this. Skip if you can, Millennium Force and Iron Dragon are right next to it and so much better.

I like this coaster. It’s a little bouncy in the head space so watch yer ears! However, it’s kind of its own ride since you can swing your feet. It’s pretty nice to swing them once you sit there after walking all day. There’s a sign that specifically says don’t extend your feet so just you remember that while the ride is in motion. Rougarou does not deserve all the hate it gets. It's definitely not the best roller coaster in the park, but nowhere near the worst. This B&M floorless coaster started its life as Mantis, a B&M standup before being converted into a floorless coaster. It starts with dropping you into a super impressive vertical loop before sending you into some more inversions. Although the twist and turns were fun, their harness design was poor. I'm 5"8 and my head hit the seat multiple times during the ride, which left my right ear red and hurt. Maybe just add some cushions to the head area would improve this ride a lot. The wait time was great though, I waited 5 mins on Sat afternoon.
