I had a very poor experience with Roto-Rooter. There was a leaking water line from our refrigerator into the basement ceiling. I was shown what I believed to be an estimate for the repairs and was then told it was a contract I could not get out of. The job ended up costing me $7k, which I believe to be way overpriced. I had asked around afterwards and others were giving me an estimate of $2k or less. The ceiling was never fixed after they fixed the water line, so I had to hire someone else to fix the ceiling. While having a sewer back up is never a good thing, I'm very happy my landlord called Roto-Rooter to take care of it. The tech Angel was prompt, polite and efficient. He did an amazing job. He had some issues with tree roots stopping his snake but he didn't stop until he broke through and got it running again. He also did a great job cleaning up after himself even when I told him I would do it. I was very impressed with his knowledge and work ethic to be so young! Thank you Angel!
