Got surgery in 2024 with Dr Ian Kaye. Surgery was adequate, not a great post-surgical experience if I’m being honest. I paid through the nose, on a payment plan to pay it off over 6 months. Paid in full. Just received a bill for $2500 because of a ‘billing credit error.’ The only thing I am being offered is a payment plan. Do not go to Rothman unless you enjoy 4-5 figure surprise bills, years after the fact. They cannot handle their own billing system and you will pay the price. My primary care physician referred me for physical therapy and a second opinion; I made an appointment at this location with the expectation to have a new patient visit. I provided my medical insurance when I made an appointment and let them know I expected any services and treatment to be preauthorized with my insurance. In 2023, I received rehabilitation services for several months at Rothman Orthopedics in Monmouth Junction, NJ. During that time, I paid my portion of the costs directly to Rothman to meet my insurance deductible and believed my account was fully settled.
