As I see a lot of people on here looking for veterinary clinics and emergency clinics, I want to make you aware of something. Never take your pets to Rossmoyne emergency clinic. They are terrible. They totally misdiagnosed my kitten. My kitten was running a 104° temperature and I was never told that. It was never addressed. He was showing signs of dehydration. I asked the vet if she thought he was dehydrated and her reply was a blank look and a shrug of her shoulders. Then she said “I can give him some sub Q fluids... read more
I think this place used to be good and something changed. I brought my dog in last night. She was in severe pain and throwing up. She is still in severe pain and throwing up. I was told I had 24 hours to ask questions if there was a problem. The receptionist refused to ask the vet a question I thought about on my way out. This place is sad. The only high mark it gets is on the amount they charge you for the pathetic service you receive. I was in the office for over 3 hours waiting to see the vet -- and the place was ... read more
My dog was in severe pain and throwing up last night. It cost me over $500 last night and my dog is still in severe pain and throwing up last night. I was in the office for about 3 hours just waiting to see the vet and there were 2 cars in the parking lot when I pulled in. I had a question on the way out and the receptionist refused to ask the vet. I was told I had 24 hours to call with questions. If I need to take my dog back tonight with the same symptoms I have to start all over again. Of course if they could not get it r... read more
Our dog came in to this vet, and died 3 days later. In December of 2019, a family member and I had a dog that was taken to Rossmoyne Animal Emergency Trauma Center due to being weak, distressed and not eating or drinking water. During the visit, the vet there did not take any blood tests, or any other tests (other than a quick ultrasound which wasn’t even saved on record to look at later) to determine a cause for the extreme weakness, distress or lack of appetite (had been a couple days of not getting food down and water wou... read more
This place is horrible. Go somewhere else. Waited three hours with my sick dog and no one came in room. Asked front desk several times and was told my dog would be “seen next”. Never happened.
Thank you for all you did for my pets. You keep me updated and took great care of them.
Avoid Dr. Potter! She only wanted to euthanize our dog, who has totally been saved by a specialist.
The staff was always pleasant and understanding. They were very patient with us on the treatment of our best friend Abby. She was suddenly in so much pain and they told us she had very bad arthritis down her spine and what were likely cancerous nodules in her lungs. They gave us our options and when we decided to try medication to ease her pain in her spine they supported us 100%. They were there for us in the middle of the night when we finally had to let her go. I would take my dog there anytime they had trauma. Thank you ... read more
