He is very knowledgeable and explains everything very well. Reviewed my history going way back and by doing this gives him a picture of my health record. I requested Dr Vandorpe because he took care of my mom for over ten years. He is a terrific doctor & I would highly recommend him.... if you can get in to see him as he's very popular and a busy doctor.
Dr. VanDorpe is simply a great doctor. He explains things well and makes complex issues easy to understand. I like and respect that most about him, but he also prepares well for each visit, or he has a terrific memory -- or, maybe, it's something of both. By knowing my history, he's able to compare and contrast to present conditions and treat them in the best possible ways. He has been my cardiologist for 15 years. I trust and respect him.
Dr. Van Dorpe is the nicest, kindest man. He always has plenty of time for patients and is on time.
He is disrespectful to peers. His bedside manners are lacking.
Dr. VanDorpe has no bed side manners he is very arrogant. He continued to interrupt as I was trying to explain the pains in my chest. The Nurse told him I had a quadruple bypass. Three minutes later he was listening to my heart and asked if I had open heart surgery. The asked if it was a bypass. From what I can tell his arrogance gets in the way of his listening skills. I pulled my own IV and left the hospital that’s how rude this person was.
At Delnor on 11/16, a rude, arrogant Dr. Williams told my very sick wife that if I insisted on following the Coreg doses prescribed by Ross Vandorpe it would injure her but if I insist he would change the prescription back to what Dr. Vandorpe had proscribed and my wife had followed for months without any adverse result. Outrageous!
