My silon and I traveled from Ontario to see friends for the long weekend here and stayed at the Ross Inn for a week away. Tara, the owner was the sweetest and went above and beyond telling me of all the little things this cute town has to offer. We stayed at the west end of town in the new renovated rooms. They were clean, comfortable and offered REAL COFFEE!! Sure nice to see a friendly face and warm clean room to lay your head in the middle of a SK storm! Promptly plowed us a way out when we felt comfortable to hit the road again!
I was traveling the province for work and was on my way home (From Yorkton to Martensville) when the weather turned bad. It was dark, windy, wet, blowing snow, couldn't see the road lines anymore. I didn't feel safe driving at this point. I pulled into Lanigan and thankfully, there was a room available.
