This company is a joke. Avoid any properties under their care! I've been living at The James on Merrimac for over a year and we've had 3 different property managers, almost no completed maintenance work, and Ross Companies isn't doing anything to help us. They'll gladly collect your rent and badger you if it's even an hour late, but they are actively violating Virginia landlord/tenant law. I lived in the Seven Springs Apartment, which is managed by ROSS. My friend's car was towed on December 30th solely due to an expired tag. What a nice gift for New Year's break~ Your customer service lady's condescending attitude, "Go check your own lease," is intimidating and fails to de-escalate the tension between us. I also complained that the recycling dumpster is always full, and your manager lied in my face "The recycling dumpster is cleaned every other day" which can't be true.
