The manager of this shop (Rosa) is an absolute phenomenon. I foolishly underestimated the shop after frames they'd offered to order for me were delayed a bit by some courier, thinking the process probably wouldn't work out due to that and the finer points of selecting and producing lenses. I'm really satisfied to have been proven utterly wrong when it comes to that assumption. I had a quote for two pairs of prescription glasses, ($1020) went to pay for them and was told it would be another $240. they "lost" the quotes, but luckily i had and still have the hard copies. They refused to honor the quote.
He is the best optometrist I have seen since moving to the Central Coast nine years ago. I have tried other optometrists on the coast. Some of them individual practitioners and some chain stores. Ross and Doug got my glasses right the first time. It might cost a little more than some places but it is worth every cent.

I had my own frames I wanted to use and I just wanted the lens. The older lady who served me was quite rude because of this. I guess she was thinking of the money she wasn’t going to get from me. She tried to tell me that the lens wouldn’t fit correctly if I didn’t use their frames. I didn’t have $800 for frames. Well the lens did fit my own frames and I was very happy with the quality of the lens but this woman ruined my experience with this store so I won’t be going back.
