I had a quote for two pairs of prescription glasses, ($1020) went to pay for them and was told it would be another $240. they "lost" the quotes, but luckily i had and still have the hard copies. They refused to honor the quote.
He is the best optometrist I have seen since moving to the Central Coast nine years ago. I have tried other optometrists on the coast. Some of them individual practitioners and some chain stores. Ross and Doug got my glasses right the first time. It might cost a little more than some places but it is worth every cent.

I had my own frames I wanted to use and I just wanted the lens. The older lady who served me was quite rude because of this. I guess she was thinking of the money she wasn’t going to get from me. She tried to tell me that the lens wouldn’t fit correctly if I didn’t use their frames. I didn’t have $800 for frames. Well the lens did fit my own frames and I was very happy with the quality of the lens but this woman ruined my experience with this store so I won’t be going back.
