Really loved the eggplant parm from Rosie's. Perfectly fried eggplant in a delicious marinara sauce in a soft roll. I am a snob when it comes to my eggplant parm. And this one hit the spot! And I absolutely love that Rosie's was one of the first Sicilian bakeries in Chicago to do muffuletta sandwiches like they do in the old country, and which New Orleans became famous for. They know what they are doing, and they are doing it right across the board. A real hidden gem in Logan Square.
Absolutely fresh and delicious sandwiches. I work in the city, but live in the suburbs, and just learned of this place. Can’t wait to try more stuff and take some home to the wife and son. Really great food paired with an awesome owner. “All I wanna do is go the distance” through every sandwich on the menu. Can’t go wrong here. Rosie’s isn’t a contender for best sandwich. They’re the champ.
