dr. shaw is incredible ! and everyone at the clinic is wonderful too. we have a happy healthy baby and we are really grateful for this place! would rccomend to everyone.
They provide quality service and these are good people to work with.
Dr. Villanueva was abrasive and short in our interactions. I came to her about issues with my IUD and she was dismissive of my questions and concerns. At one point, I was on the verge of tears and she told me “there’s nothing to cry about”. I did not feel comfortable in there and just got out after that. I found another OBGYN who is patient and kind, but I just felt like I needed to share how bad my experience was. Horrible bedside manner. I attended my appointment while in pain and complications. My blood pressure was extremely high which of course would cause concern. When ultrasound tech Marie asked if I had a history of high blood pressure I answered no. She asked, “are you considered black?!” “Then you probably have high blood pressure. You can ask anyone in your family and I’m sure they will tell you they have it too!” Her tone was rude and problematic especially to a person that was in pain and experiencing loss.
