Having to make a decision to move my husband from home to Memory Care was one that I had planned since his diagnosis in 2021. I evaluated over 10 locations in Charlottesville and Smith Mountain Lake to make a decision to come to Rosewood Hollymead. I had been working with another Memory Care Center over the last two years for extended stays while traveling for work. Looks good on the outside, but it’s just a shiny façade. Staff rates from very good to certain individuals with very bad attitudes. I regret placing a family member at this facility. Meds delivered late, wrong meals delivered frequently, sheets not changed, room not cleaned on a regular basis, etc.
