Janet, the owner, is a wonderfully patient instructor that always makes you feel like you're doing a great job. Even if your work isn't coming out as you'd hoped, she still finds a way to salvage it. Janet encourages and welcomes everyone to the studio. My aunt was with me visiting while I was taking a 4 week class and Janet found a piece of pottery for her to experiment with. It was so kind. The teachers and everyone are so friendly. Everyone helps each other in the learning process. My first class I had the teacher Janet and 2 other advanced students there for open studio giving me tips and advice.
Kim and I had the best time today! Janet was super knowledgeable and extremely helpful! She has an awesome personality and was great to work with. Will be scheduling our next visit soon!!!

My big beautiful home away from home! Amazing teachers and supportive staff who’ll celebrate your accomplishments no matter how small. And, take you by the hand, when challenges arise so that you are able to continue to grow as a potter. Small class sizes with lots of individual attention. Beautiful array of glazes to choose from too!

My husband had gotten me a four-week class for Christmas. Didn't think I was going to like it at all. To my surprise I am now doing a 8-week class! Janet and Madison are truly the sweetest and patient women I have met there among a few others that have helped me. I honestly recommend everyone who checks this site out to try a class. Absolutely incredible and informative experience. Rosewood pottery made me feel right at home. A beginner to throwing clay, I was clearly and kindly walked through each and every step. When I made mistakes, she showed me ways to fix them and helped me correct my form. I ended up with a beautiful pot and even bought a mug at the end of the night!
