I booked the Spa Getaway package (relaxation massage, pedicure, and facial). Unfortunately, the massage didn’t feel relaxing at all—it seemed rushed, and the technique wasn’t slow or gentle enough to match what I’d expect from a relaxation treatment. The pedicure was decent. The facial, however, felt a bit unusual. During the extraction portion, the esthetician used her fingers covered with tissue on my face, which isn’t something I’d even do at home. Overall, not the experience I was hoping for.
I debated making this review for a long time as I avoid conflict but I had a very disappointing experience. I was staying at the hotel and decided to treat myself and get my nails done. I had budgeted around 70 minutes for the manicure (I was told it would take 60) and also arrived early to make sure I would finish on time. I was asked if I would like a drink, and asked for tea.
