I have to admit, I was the last person to fall in love with a gym. I thought that I would never get myself back into shape after reaching almost 300 lbs. but my wife gave me a month long trial membership and I immediately became a gym rat! I love this gym and the people in it. There is something warm and friendly about it. Certainly not the normal rat race.
I had a major motorcycle accident about seven years ago and I gained a lot of weight because of inactivity and just dealing with the pain etc. I am now down 20 pounds in three months doing my custom workout that Heather created for me and the pounds are dropping fast now. The first few months were just getting strength back and getting back into decent shape. I was shrinking the whole time in size but the weight wasn't changing much because I was building muscle. I have been a member since 2011. Absolutely love this place. I use the pool for physical therapy 6 days a week. Hardly ever crowded. Quiet. Full wellness center as it also encapsulates Chiropractic, esthetic, podiatry and other offices. Not a gym.
