Overall, I had a wonderful experience. The service was outstanding friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish. The food was excellent, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The only disappointment was the espresso. At such a well known Italian restaurant, I expected an authentic Italian espresso. Unfortunately, it tasted more like an American style espresso. "The pastries and sandwiches looked excellent, and what I ordered tasted great. However, the service model wasn't clear—I didn't realize I had to grab the food first and then pay. Even after my food was packed and waiting by the register, the cashier took a long time to get to me and seemed completely out of patience. Delicious food, but the service needs improvement."
We live a block away and were so excited to have this be our daily spot. We stopped going since the team is so incredibly rude on a consistent daily basis.
Today we visited this store and had a very unpleasant experience at checkout. I purchased four items, but I was charged for five. When I pointed out that there might be a mistake, I was initially told that everything had been counted correctly. Only after I insisted on a recount was the error discovered and corrected. What was even more disappointing was the attitude of an employee named Ash, who appeared to be assisting a new cashier. I entered the store very excited because the food and establishment looked beautiful. However, the cashier (Ms. Yennifer) was rude and combative to questions about the menu. I was already tired and hungry, and our interaction made me so uncomfortable that I did not order any food and left immediately. I can only hope that this poor attitude was an anomaly for her and the general service at Rosetta.
